Chelsea could once again look to sell players to Saudi Arabian in the summer transfer window following Todd Boehly’s meeting with Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo.

In the latest reports circulating across various news outlets, it has been revealed that Fulham Football Club is set to transfer £4 million to Chelsea as part of their agreement for the loan deal involving Armando Broja.

Seeking increased playing time for the remainder of the season, Broja made the move to Fulham during the January transfer window. However, despite this transfer, the 22-year-old forward has found himself primarily used as a substitute, having only been brought on four times in Premier League matches for Fulham and yet to secure a starting position.

According to MailOnline, Chelsea allowed Fulham to acquire Broja without a transfer fee on the condition that he participates in at least 60% of Fulham’s remaining fixtures. Furthermore, it has been reported that Fulham will be obligated to pay Chelsea the aforementioned £4 million loan fee if Broja fails to start in all ten of Fulham’s remaining games.

Adding to Broja’s challenges in securing regular playing time is the impressive form of Rodrigo Muniz, who has netted five goals in his last six appearances, thereby intensifying competition for attacking positions within Fulham’s lineup.

Additionally, the imminent return of Raul Jimenez to Fulham’s squad after recovering from a leg injury sustained at the end of January further complicates Broja’s prospects for consistent game time.

In a recent statement addressing Broja’s situation at Fulham, manager Marco Silva emphasized the need for patience, stating, “He has to wait for his chance.” Silva expressed confidence in Broja’s abilities and stressed the importance of adapting to Fulham’s playing style, acknowledging the adjustment period required for the young forward to acclimate and excel within the team.

Despite facing setbacks such as illness and limited opportunities, Broja remains determined to make an impact at his new club, with Silva affirming his readiness to utilize the player effectively once fully fit and acclimatized to Fulham’s setup.
