Liverpool has been ravaged by injuries this season, and the tendency continues even with players on loan.
According to The Courier, Owen Beck is likely to return to Merseyside from Dundee owing to a groin injury that could keep him out until late April.
Tony Docherty, Dundee’s manager, indicated that “Owen is facing a four to six week recovery period due to his groin injury.” Liverpool, his parent club, will oversee his treatment to ensure he receives the best possible care.
Beck has returned to Liverpool from Dundee before this season. He was previously called up in January due to a left-back injury issue at Liverpool.
Despite this setback, his loan agreement has not been revoked, and there is hope that he may recover in time for the Scottish Premiership’s post-split games.
Beck, 21, had been making frequent appearances at Dens Park, unlike his previous loan spells with Famalicao and Bolton.
With access to Liverpool’s finest medical facilities, his recovery is expected to be accelerated, allowing him to rejoin Dundee’s campaign before the season ends.
