Chelsea Set To Offload 11 Players In Another Transfer Window Of High Turnover to avoid FFP rules and to fund the signing £100m striker

The 19-year-old player is currently on loan at St. James’ Park, and it has been stipulated that the Magpies would need to pay a sum of £35 million to finalize the agreement on a permanent basis.

Additionally, Broja may opt for a permanent departure from Chelsea during the upcoming summer transfer window. Initially, the club aimed to offload the striker in January, but due to the financial constraints prevalent in the Premier League at that time, a loan deal with Fulham was negotiated.

Having had limited opportunities in west London, the 22-year-old striker, Broja, has yet to make a significant impact, having only played five matches without finding the back of the net for the Cottagers. Nevertheless, West Ham United has shown sustained interest in the Albanian international for the long term.

The potential sale of the aforementioned players would result in monetary gains for the club. Additionally, Marc Cucurella is considered dispensable, thus, should he depart before the summer transfer window, Chelsea would incur substantial financial losses.

Cucurella, who was acquired by Chelsea for a reported £60 million in the summer of 2022, has encountered challenges during his tenure at the club. Consequently, should he choose to depart, his market value would likely decrease significantly. However, even if the Spaniard remains content at Stamford Bridge, the club may entertain the possibility of his departure if a suitable deal arises.

Thiago Silva is expected to leave the team in the summer, despite Pochettino’s recent remarks downplaying the matter. Regarding Silva’s future, Pochettino stated, “It’s a matter that, at the moment, we are not discussing about the future of the player in the group.”

As the season draws to a close, it is imperative for the club to deliberate and make decisions concerning the team’s future, considering the competitive landscape. Silva’s contract is set to expire at the end of June, granting him the freedom to depart from the team. Chelsea secured Silva’s services from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in 2020.

Certain players are likely to be listed for transfer in the summer, as it has become evident that they do not fit into Chelsea’s future plans. Notably, Malang Sarr, who has not featured in a competitive game for the team in over two years, falls into this category.

Furthermore, there will be significant speculation surrounding the future of current loan recipients Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Hakim Ziyech during the summer transfer window. With just over a year remaining on his contract, Lucas Bergstrom may be permanently transferred, given the intense competition within Stamford Bridge’s goalkeeping department.
