Under Todd Boehly’s leadership, Chelsea has been busy reshaping its squad. Last summer, they signed a dozen players to long-term deals, which meant saying goodbye to a bunch of others. Big names like Kai Havertz and Mason Mount left for hefty sums to join rival teams.
To stay within the rules of Financial Fair Play, Chelsea needs to make more big sales. Players like Conor Gallagher might need to go to balance the books, even though talks about his future are ongoing.
According to Romano, four more players are definitely leaving, including Ziyech and Lukaku, who are currently out on loan. Where they’ll end up is still uncertain, but destinations like Galatasaray and Borussia Dortmund are in the mix. Broja, on loan at Fulham, is also set to leave when his loan ends.
