Chelsea Manager Enzo Maresca is Set to Sign £35Million Manchester United FLOP Player who Erig Ten Hag don’t want in his squad

Chelsea is currently negotiating with Fulham to sign their midfielder Andreas Pereira, according to Brazilian sources. The West London club is eager to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming Premier League season, having already secured the signings of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Omari Kellyman, Renato Veiga, Marc Guiu, and Tosin Adarabioyo.
Chelsea’s interest in Pereira signifies their intent to further enhance their midfield options. The club has been in touch with Pereira’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, exploring the feasibility of bringing the Brazilian international to Stamford Bridge. Reports from Globo suggest that Chelsea is willing to offer Fulham up to £35 million for Pereira, a move that has received the endorsement of Enzo Maresca, Chelsea’s manager.
Pereira reportedly has a verbal agreement with Fulham, allowing him to leave if a satisfactory offer is made. This condition could facilitate his transfer to Chelsea, especially since Pereira favors staying in London over other potential destinations. Monaco, having finished second in Ligue 1 and qualified for the revamped Champions League, has also shown interest in Pereira. However, his preference to remain in London makes Chelsea his favored choice.
Chelsea views Pereira as a suitable replacement for Conor Gallagher, whose contract expires next year and who might leave Stamford Bridge before the summer transfer window closes. Pereira’s potential move to Chelsea is thus seen as a strategic reinforcement.
Presently, Pereira is vacationing with his family in the United States, having recently participated in the Copa America, where he made three substitute appearances for Brazil. Fulham expects him to join their preseason camp in Portugal at the end of the month.
Pereira’s journey to Fulham began two years ago when he was transferred from Manchester United for £10 million. Last season, he made a notable impact with 37 Premier League appearances, contributing three goals and seven assists.
Chelsea’s pursuit of Pereira underscores their ambition to assemble a robust squad capable of competing at the highest level in the forthcoming season.
