HERE WE GO!!!. BREAKING NEWS: Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Erik Ten Hag time at Old Trafford is finally OVER as Thomas Tuchel has agreed a three years deal to join Manchester United as their new head coach-“🗣I have big plans here which I must fulfil. I want to prove that I am the best coach in the world”.

Thomas Tuchel has made it clear that he will be leaving Bayern Munich at the end of this season. This announcement settles the swirling rumors that he might have been persuaded to stay at the renowned German club.

Tuchel had first revealed his plans to leave in February, amidst growing criticism over his performance despite his prestigious track record with teams like Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. Since his initial announcement, Bayern has been on the lookout for his successor. High-profile names such as Xabi Alonso and Julian Nagelsmann have been considered, but the club has yet to confirm who will take over.

During what he described as his last press conference at Bayern’s training ground, Säbener Strasse, Tuchel reaffirmed his decision to leave, stating, “Our agreement from February still stands. We spoke about it again recently, but we did not reach an agreement.” His remarks came just before Bayern’s upcoming game against Hoffenheim.

Rumors have been circulating about Tuchel’s next move, particularly linking him with a potential position at Manchester United if they part ways with their current manager, Erik ten Hag. With new leadership over sporting operations at Manchester United, courtesy of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos, Tuchel is considered a strong candidate. He has openly expressed his desire to return to the Premier League, fondly recalling his “very, very special” time in England, especially during his tenure with Chelsea.

Despite the presence of star striker Harry Kane, who scored an impressive 44 goals in 45 matches, Tuchel’s season at Bayern has been underwhelming. The club failed to secure any major trophies for the first time since the 2011/12 season. They lost the Bundesliga title to Bayer Leverkusen, were knocked out of the DFB-Pokal by a third-tier team, lost the DFL-Supercup to RB Leipzig, and were eliminated from the Champions League in the semi-finals by Real Madrid.

As Tuchel prepares to depart, speculation about his future and potential return to English football continues to grow. His era at Bayern may be ending on a subdued note, but the prospect of a new chapter in the Premier League offers a fresh and exciting start.
