Barcelona is pressuring the team’s star to force him to leave before the winter transfer window closes

Barcelona is reportedly increasing its efforts to convince one of its key players, Ansu Fati, to leave the club during the ongoing winter transfer window, despite the young forward’s strong preference to remain. As the team prepares for a critical La Liga match against Getafe tomorrow, where they aim to get back to winning ways, the club’s management is said to have ramped up pressure on Fati to agree to a temporary move.

Reports from Sport suggest that Barcelona is urging the 22-year-old forward to consider a loan deal that would allow him to secure more regular playing time and rediscover his form, a decision they believe would benefit both the player and the club in the long run. However, Fati has been adamant about staying at Barcelona, even if it means accepting a reduced role with limited minutes on the pitch for now.

So far this season, Fati has participated in eight matches but has only accumulated a total of 186 minutes, failing to register any goals or assists. His reluctance to accept another loan stems from his disappointing experience at Brighton, where he struggled to make a meaningful impact, leaving him cautious about repeating a similar situation.
