BREAKING- Erik Ten Hag has requested that Man united sign 26 years old ‘spectacular’ £35M-rated Dutch maestro who is wanted by Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta- Ten Hag plans to block every chance of Arsenal progress

Manchester United might intervene in AC Milan’s pursuit of Dutch and Bologna forward Joshua Zirkzee, recent reports suggest.

A report from La Gazzetta Dello Sport reveals that the Italian club has hit a significant roadblock in their efforts to finalize the transfer.

The Rossoneri have successfully negotiated personal terms with Zirkzee, offering him an annual salary in the range of 4-5 million euros.

Furthermore, AC Milan is prepared to meet the 40 million euro release clause, which remains valid for all interested clubs for the next six weeks, to secure his services. However, a complication has arisen in the form of Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, who facilitated the striker’s move from Bayern Munich to Italy. Joorabchian is demanding a hefty commission of 15 million euros to finalize the deal.

This demand has placed AC Milan in a difficult position. The total cost of the transfer, including the commission, would amount to approximately £46.4 million (55 million euros), a figure the club is hesitant to accept.

Milan’s new manager, Fonseca, is working diligently to resolve this issue and expedite Zirkzee’s acquisition. However, with twenty days remaining before the risk heightens, there is a significant concern that Manchester United or Arsenal could swoop in and complete the signing.

The international transfer window opens on July 1st, providing Manchester United and other interested parties the opportunity to meet the total £46.4 million cost (including the clause and agent fees) to sign the 23-year-old striker.

Currently, Zirkzee prefers to remain in Italy, but the ever-changing dynamics of the transfer market mean that preferences and deals can shift rapidly.

We will continue to monitor this transfer saga closely and provide updates as the situation develops.
