Personal Terms Agreed: Manchester United finally agreed deal to sign sensational £30m Dutch international – Awaiting final Greenlight from the club

Manchester United have received a significant boost in their quest to sign Bologna’s striker Joshua Zirkzee, as reported by journalist Nick Semeraro.

The Red Devils are on the hunt for a new centre-forward and it was disclosed recently that the club is in serious negotiations with Zirkzee’s agent, Kia Joorabchian.

Nick Semeraro, a journalist with a solid reputation in Italy, has now shared that Joorabchian has issued a firm ultimatum to AC Milan: they must finalize the deal soon or risk losing the player.

Currently, Joorabchian is seeking a hefty commission of £13 million, but unlike AC Milan, where relations are strained, he is willing to offer Manchester United a discount.

Manchester United See Opportunity in Zirkzee Chase
The Dutch striker had an impressive 2023/24 season with Bologna, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists across 37 appearances in various competitions. Beyond his goal contributions, Zirkzee showcased his excellent dribbling skills and pace, making him a formidable force on the counter-attack.

Zirkzee possesses the qualities to develop into a top-tier striker, and Manchester United might be leading the race to secure his signature due to their serious discussions with Joorabchian.

While Zirkzee’s £34 million release clause is within reach for any top European club, the significant hurdle has been the £13 million commission demanded by his agent.

AC Milan has outright rejected paying this fee. Manchester United faces a similar challenge but may benefit from Joorabchian’s intention to foster a relationship with INEOS, possibly offering them a reduced commission.

Described as a ‘powerful’ striker by Bayern II manager Holger Seitz, Zirkzee would be an excellent addition to Manchester United, providing strong competition for Rasmus Hojlund.
