Chelsea submit bid to sign Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City — reports

Presented with the choice of joining Chelsea, reuniting with his former coach Enzo Maresca, or moving to Brighton & Hove Albion with their yet-to-be-named new coach, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has opted for the former. The 25-year-old midfielder has shown a clear preference for a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

Reports suggest that Chelsea has already submitted an official bid to Leicester City for Dewsbury-Hall. However, details about the nature of the bid remain unclear. It could be a straightforward cash offer, or it might involve other players in a part-exchange deal. Another possibility is a separate but related transaction, a common trend in recent transfers.

Negotiations on personal terms between Chelsea and Dewsbury-Hall, known as KDH, seem to be progressing smoothly. With two years left on his current contract with Leicester City, it is believed that Chelsea is the only team he is interested in joining. So far, there have been no indications that Leicester City is planning to counter Chelsea’s offer with a new contract for Dewsbury-Hall, suggesting that the move to Chelsea is likely.

Dewsbury-Hall’s potential arrival at Chelsea might lead the club to intensify efforts to sell Conor Gallagher, as they look to make room in their squad for the new acquisition.
