Barcelona duo Pedri and Gavi are in a state of ou,trage over Hansi Flick’s un,fair decision towards the talented Barcelona star

Pedri and Gavi Express Frustration Over Hansi Flick’s Decision to Exclude Pablo Torre from Playing Time

Barcelona delivered an emphatic 5-0 victory over Real Sociedad at Montjuïc Stadium, showcasing their dominance with goals scored by Gerard Martin, Marc Casado, Ronald Araújo, and Robert Lewandowski. This comprehensive win further strengthened their position at the top of the La Liga table, putting them in first place with 57 points, narrowly ahead of Atlético Madrid with 56 points and Real Madrid with 54 points.

However, despite the team’s resounding success on the pitch, a controversial decision by head coach Hansi Flick has reportedly led to frustration among key players. According to Spanish outlet El Nacional, Barcelona midfielders Pedri and Gavi were left disappointed after Flick chose not to grant young talent Pablo Torre any playing time during the match.

Given that Barcelona had already secured a comfortable lead, Flick took the opportunity to make several second-half substitutions, bringing off key players such as Pedri, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, and Araújo to manage their workload and prevent unnecessary fatigue. However, despite the ideal conditions for giving Torre some minutes, the coach opted against it, a decision that did not sit well with some of the team’s young stars.

Reports suggest that both Pedri and Gavi strongly believed Torre had earned the right to feature in the game, particularly since the outcome was already decided. They viewed this as a perfect opportunity for the promising midfielder to gain valuable experience. However, Flick was reportedly unwavering in his stance, allegedly dismissing any further discussion on the matter by stating, “He will not play, we are done with this matter.”

This firm response has allegedly fueled frustration among Pedri, Gavi, and others who support Torre’s development. With the young midfielder regarded as one of Barcelona’s most promising talents, it remains to be seen whether Flick will adjust his approach in upcoming matches or if Torre will continue to struggle for opportunities under the current management.
