According To Reports, Chelsea Are Reportedly Be Prepared To Include One Of Their Current Attackers In A Deal To Sign Swedish Centre-Forward, Who Finished Third In The Race For The 2023-24 Premier League Golden Boot. As Per Reports, Chelsea To Use Nicolas Jackson Plus Cash In Swap Deal To Bring Alexander Isak To Stamford Bridge. Isak Came Up With 21 Goals In 30 Top-Flight Contests For Eddie Howe’s Last Season, Only Fewer Than Top Scorer Erling Haaland (27) And Chelsea’s Own Cole Palmer (22). Chelsea Ready To Put In Their Ball To Bring Isak To Chelsea.

Chelsea is reportedly exploring the option of including one of their current forwards in a potential deal to acquire Alexander Isak from Newcastle United this summer. The London club has reached out to Newcastle to express their interest in the Swedish striker, who had an impressive season by finishing third in the 2023-24 Premier League Golden Boot race. Isak scored 21 goals in 30 matches, trailing only Erling Haaland, who netted 27 goals, and Chelsea’s own Cole Palmer, who scored 22.

Isak is under contract with Newcastle until 2028, and the club, having made other sales to improve their Financial Fair Play standing, is not in a position where they need to sell him at a discounted rate. As a result, Chelsea has been informed that they would need to break their transfer record to secure Isak, surpassing the £115 million they paid for Moises Caicedo last year.

One of the strategies Chelsea is considering to reduce the financial burden of the transfer is to include Nicolas Jackson in a swap deal. According to The Sun, Chelsea is contemplating offering Jackson, their current number nine, as part of the transaction. Jackson joined Chelsea last summer after Kai Havertz moved to Arsenal. During the 2023-24 season, he scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 44 appearances under Mauricio Pochettino. However, his inconsistent performances in front of goal have led Chelsea to seek a new primary striker for their first campaign under new manager Enzo Maresca. While Jackson is valued by the club, they are open to using him as a bargaining chip in their pursuit of Isak.

Jackson, who was signed for £31.4 million last summer and is under contract until June 2031, could be an integral part of Chelsea’s offer for Isak. Whether this proposal will be enough to persuade Newcastle remains uncertain. In addition to Jackson, Chelsea is looking to offload other strikers. Romelu Lukaku and Armando Broja, who are returning from loan spells at Roma and Fulham respectively, are expected to leave Stamford Bridge. Lukaku’s future will be decided after Euro 2024, where Belgium is set to face France in the last-16. Broja’s Albania has already been eliminated from the tournament. Chelsea may have to accept a financial loss on Lukaku, potentially selling him for less than £35 million, compared to the £97.5 million they initially paid, with a permanent move to Italy being a possible outcome.

In other transfer news, Chelsea has already sold one attacker. Omari Hutchinson’s £22 million transfer to Ipswich Town was confirmed on Sunday evening.
