Manchester United completes the signing of £70m superstar,Player already waving goodbye to His teammates as He is set to join on a long-term deal, Bayern Munich tried to highjacked the deal but is now a done deal for Man united

Manchester United has successfully completed the signing of a £70 million superstar. The player, who is set to join on a long-term deal, has already started saying his farewells to his current teammates. Chelsea made an attempt to hijack the deal but ultimately, it has been finalized in favor of Manchester United.

The situation involving Matthijs de Ligt’s potential transfer to Manchester United hasn’t yet reached the status of a transfer saga, though it has become somewhat tedious despite its potential excitement.

German newspaper Bild seems to be recycling the same article with minor updates, adding phrases like “exciting news” but not providing much new information. The essence remains the same: Bayern Munich is seeking around €50 million plus bonuses for de Ligt, while Manchester United prefers a straightforward €50 million deal, possibly inclusive of bonuses.

There appears to be no tension between the negotiating parties, suggesting that both sides believe the details can be worked out when they decide to finalize the deal. The lack of urgency might be due to de Ligt’s involvement in Euro 2024. With the tournament now over, de Ligt is expected to take a holiday, so the transfer could either be completed before he leaves or upon his return.

Florian Plettenberg, a journalist for Sky Deutschland, reports that de Ligt is eager to join Manchester United immediately, likely hoping to finalize the move before his vacation. He indicates that the transfer process is ongoing, but Manchester United has yet to submit their final top offer.
