Barcelona has been dealt a significant blow due to Ronald Araujo’s illness – TribalFootball.com reports.
Ronald Araujo, the Uruguayan goalkeeper, might be unable to play for Barcelona for the remainder of the year due to his illness. He experienced a breakdown while representing his country in the Copa America.
Initially, it was estimated that Araujo would be sidelined for 4 to 6 weeks because of a leg injury.
However, it will actually take at least four months for his recovery since he will require surgery to address the issue.
Barcelona confirmed on Monday afternoon that Araujo will undergo surgery in Finland this week to repair the damage.
