HERE WE GO: Manchester United finally complete the signing of £70m superstar, agreement reached last night, Medical currently ongoing – announcement to be done today
Manchester United are keen on securing Leny Yoro from Lille, having already made an offer to attract the player.
Initially, it was believed that Yoro was willing to let his contract expire to join Real Madrid, showing little interest in a move to United.
However, recent updates reveal that Manchester United have made a significant bid to satisfy Lille’s demands, leaving Yoro uncertain about his future club.
L’Equipe reports that Manchester United’s offer amounts to £53 million plus bonuses, totaling €63 million, meeting Lille’s valuation for Yoro. Despite this, the French outlet notes that the 18-year-old talent has a preference for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid, however, is not prioritizing an upgrade to their central defense and has submitted a much lower bid of €20 million. This offer is seen as insufficient by Lille, causing concern for Yoro, who has expressed his desire to leave the club.
“Leny Yoro remains undecided about which team he will join next season and is unsure of his own preferences,” the report states.
Yoro had hoped for a stronger commitment from Real Madrid, but their lack of seriousness could benefit Manchester United, who are determined to finalize the transfer.
Paris Saint-Germain is also monitoring Yoro, but currently, the main competitors are Manchester United and Real Madrid, with the Premier League club being the most proactive in their efforts.
The transfer saga continues to evolve, and updates will follow as the situation develops.
