Barcelona’s management team, led by Joan Laporta and sporting director Deco, are striving to finalize a contract deal with Neco Williams, who plays for Athletic Bilbao and the Spain national team, within the next few days.
The Blaugrana are keen to secure Williams’ signature after he demonstrated his potential and garnered attention during his participation with the Spanish national team in Euro 2024. Williams played a pivotal role in Spain’s tournament victory, forming a formidable partnership with Barcelona player Lamine Yamal.
According to the Spanish newspaper “Mundo Deportivo,” Barcelona has asked Neco Williams for a prompt response to their offer. If he declines, they plan to aggressively pursue Dani Olmo instead.
