My client is calling me everyday, pleading with me to accept Man United proposal but I don’t want a club that will ruin my client career”, Agent of £50m superstar says He will only accepts Man United offer if Ten Hag can guarantee His client first team
The agent of a £50 million star has revealed that he receives daily calls from Manchester United, urging him to accept their offer. However, he has expressed reservations about the move, stating he is unwilling to place his client in a situation where their career could be jeopardized. The agent mentioned that he would only consider Manchester United’s proposal if manager Erik ten Hag can assure that his client will be a regular starter.
Manchester United recently paid more than Joshua Zirkzee’s £33.8 million release clause to bring him in from Bologna. Now, the club is reportedly eyeing another forward valued at £33.8 million (or €40 million). According to a recent report by Tutto Juve, Manchester United and Liverpool are among the Premier League clubs interested in signing Max Beier during the summer transfer window.
In Spain, Atlético Madrid is also showing interest, while Juventus in Italy is keen on acquiring him from Hoffenheim. The German Bundesliga side is willing to consider selling Beier this transfer window if they receive an offer around £33.8 million.
During the 2023-24 season, Beier started 29 league matches for Hoffenheim and contributed to 19 goals. Despite his impressive performance at the club level, he had a limited role at Euro 2024, making only one appearance during the group stages for Germany.
Hoffenheim’s sporting director, Alex Rosen, has praised Beier as an “incredibly fast” and dangerous forward. At Manchester United, the primary striker is Danish international Rasmus Hojlund, who inherited the No.9 shirt following Anthony Martial’s departure. Hojlund featured in Manchester United’s recent pre-season loss to Arsenal.
With the addition of Zirkzee to their attacking lineup, it seems less likely that Manchester United will pursue Beier. Currently, Erik ten Hag should focus on strengthening the midfield and wide attacking positions rather than adding another forward. What are your thoughts on this?
