Man City Star spotted on a Flight to Barcelona after rumours of his transfer to FC Barcelona was Announced days ago

Joao Cancelo has embarked on a season-long loan to Barcelona, where he will reconnect with his former teammate Ilkay Gundogan. This move comes after Cancelo experienced a falling out with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, resulting in his exclusion from City’s successful treble-winning campaign last season.

In contrast, Bernardo Silva, who has expressed a desire to leave Manchester City during each of the last three summer transfer windows, has remained with the club. Silva’s wish to depart is not rooted in dissatisfaction with the club itself but stems from his challenges in adapting to life in Manchester. Although City typically allows players to leave when acceptable offers are made, no such offers have been received for Silva, unlike for players such as Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, and Cole Palmer.

Barcelona has shown interest in acquiring Silva, but financial limitations have prevented a deal from being made. Recent rumors about Silva’s future were fueled when he was seen on a Ryanair flight from Barcelona to Manchester, according to a report by BBC Sport’s Bettywyn Glover on Instagram.

Silva’s contract, renewed in August of the previous year, reportedly includes a release clause valued at £50 million. While City has previously turned down offers at this amount, this clause could potentially enable Silva’s transfer to Barcelona or another club.

As negotiations continue, Silva’s future at Manchester City remains uncertain, with a potential transfer still a possibility.
