Barcelona has been my dream Club Since childhood and I will love to play with Lamine Yamal

Rivaldo, a highly regarded former player for Barcelona, has advised the club to exercise caution and avoid hastily finalizing a deal for Nico Williams.

Currently, Barcelona is putting considerable effort into securing the 22-year-old player from Athletic Club during this summer transfer window.

It is crucial for Barcelona to carefully plan and execute this arrangement. Negotiations are anticipated to continue throughout August, with both parties likely to take their time before reaching a final decision.

Although Barcelona fans are optimistic that Williams will soon join their team, Rivaldo has suggested that a deal is unlikely to be completed as long as Real Madrid has already secured Kylian Mbappe.

“I have a deep affection for Barcelona, but I can’t ignore the fact that Real Madrid is currently leading,” Rivaldo expressed. He believes that while Nico Williams would be a valuable addition to Barcelona, the club still needs to make one or two more signings to truly become a formidable team, as indicated by rumors circulating from Marca.

“Barcelona needs to show that they can compete on the same level as Real Madrid,” Rivaldo continued. Even with Nico Williams on board, Barcelona must prove their strength, especially in the crucial matches against Real Madrid, known as El Clasico.

“Simply acquiring Nico Williams won’t be sufficient for Barcelona to surpass Real Madrid, particularly with Mbappe in their squad.”

No further updates on the potential deal are expected in the coming weeks, as Williams is currently on an extended summer break, and Barcelona is still in the process of securing the necessary funds to make an official offer.
