“He is single handedly making Manchester United look bad. He is the reasons we lost against Fenerbahce. He keeps repeating the same mistakes in everyb match”-Paul Scholes calls out shocking Man Utd star who is ‘guilty’ of making the same mistake over and over again which lead to so many Manchester United lost this season.

Paul Scholes has highlighted a recurring mistake by a Manchester United player that he believes is affecting their performance.
Manchester United headed to Istanbul on Thursday night, aiming to secure their first Europa League victory of the season as they took on Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.
In the first half, United largely controlled the game, but it was Fenerbahce’s Christian Eriksen who broke the deadlock with an accurate strike in the 15th minute, putting the home side ahead. United managed to respond early in the second half when Youssef En-Nesyri scored with a header in the 49th minute, leveling the match.
Despite United’s efforts, the game ended in a 1-1 draw, which didn’t do much to improve their Europa League standing, leaving them in 21st place.
Following the match, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes voiced his concerns on TNT Sports, particularly focusing on Diogo Dalot’s performance. Scholes pointed out a defensive flaw he’s seen repeatedly in Dalot’s game. “I think Dalot is often guilty of that kind of mistake. It’s clear what a player like Saint-Maximin is going to do in those situations. Dalot needs to react faster and close him down because he’s a serious threat.”
Scholes went on to explain, “It was a well-executed cross, and given the situation, it was a straightforward goal, but Dalot didn’t react with enough urgency. Overall, he’s had a solid season, but addressing this aspect of his defense could help prevent similar chances in the future.”
Reflecting on United’s broader performance, Scholes remarked, “Considering the circumstances, a draw isn’t terrible. Porto away and Fenerbahce away are tough fixtures, but it’s essential to secure wins in the upcoming home match against Twente.”
Manchester United now shifts focus back to the Premier League, where they will face West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
