Erik ten Hag has dismissed concerns about his job security, stressing that the club’s leadership, ownership, and players are united in their plan for improvement. Despite recent setbacks, he highlighted the collective decision to move forward as one group.

Erik ten Hag has made it clear that he does not expect to be dismissed from his position, emphasizing unity within the club despite recent challenges. Speaking after a disappointing defeat, Ten Hag stated, “I’m not worried about being fired. We all agreed during the summer to stick together, and it was a well-thought-out plan.”

He went on to explain that the decision to move forward collectively was not only his but was also backed by the ownership and leadership groups. “After a thorough review, we determined what areas needed improvement as an organization and how to build the squad effectively,” he noted.

Ten Hag further stressed that all decisions have been made in unison, with an understanding that rebuilding would require time. “We are all aligned—ownership, leadership, staff, players, and myself included. We knew this process would take time, and we’re all on the same page, working towards the same goal,” he concluded.
