Sancho, a highly regarded talent who was brought in from Borussia Dortmund for a hefty £73 million fee, has not lived up to the expectations that accompanied his price tag. His relationship with manager Erik ten Hag soured last season, leading to a loan move back to Dortmund, where he contributed to the team’s run to the UEFA Champions League final.
This summer, Sancho returned to Manchester United and was reintegrated into the squad. He featured in several pre-season matches for the club, including a late substitution appearance in the Community Shield against Manchester City. Unfortunately, after a 1-1 draw, Sancho missed his penalty in the shoot-out, contributing to City’s victory.
According to Football Insider, Manchester United is now willing to entertain a significant offer for the 24-year-old winger, with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) reportedly showing interest. Last week, The Mirror reported that Manchester United is seeking around £40 million for Sancho’s transfer, a fee that PSG is reportedly ready to meet.
