Chelsea Winger Raheem Sterling will become the most HATED player after he’s set to complete shock transfer to Premier League Rivals!
Enzo Maresca, the head coach of Chelsea, has made it clear that there is no personal animosity between him and Raheem Sterling. Despite this, Maresca has expressed that Sterling doesn’t quite fit the tactical approach he is trying to implement at Stamford Bridge.
Sterling was notably absent from Chelsea’s starting lineup in their season opener against Manchester City last Sunday. The England international will also be sidelined for Chelsea’s upcoming match against Servette in the UEFA Conference League.
During a press conference, Maresca was candid about his decision, saying, “I’ve been upfront—he won’t be getting any playing time here.” He added, “It’s not that I doubt Raheem’s ability; he’s undoubtedly a talented player. However, my preference leans toward a different type of winger. It’s as simple as that.”
