HERE WE GO: Player spotted in Manchester as he arrives to complete his Man United’s move today, Old Club already confirmed his exit

Manchester United appears to be on the verge of securing their top midfield target for this summer, Manuel Ugarte, as negotiations near completion.

Various media reports suggest that the Uruguayan international is expected to finalize his move to the Red Devils before the transfer window closes on August 30. According to Spanish source *Sport*, Paris Saint-Germain’s coach, Luis Enrique, does not see Ugarte as part of his plans, which has paved the way for the player’s likely switch to Manchester United.

French outlet *L’Equipe* adds that the 23-year-old midfielder, known for his ability to break up play, is prepared to travel to England to finalize his transfer to Old Trafford. He is reportedly waiting for the final go-ahead from his agent, Jorge Mendes.

In the UK, *Manchester Evening News* confirms that Ugarte has already reached an agreement with Manchester United. The transfer is said to be in its final stages, with both parties close to concluding the deal.

Ugarte, who previously played for Sporting CP, was notably absent from PSG’s squad for their opening Ligue 1 fixture, and he was again left out of the lineup when the French champions dominated Montpellier with a six-goal performance. These omissions have fueled speculation that Ugarte’s departure from PSG is imminent.

With the arrival of Ugarte, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is set to bolster his squad, concluding what has been a busy and productive transfer window for the club. The club’s owners have shown strong support for Ten Hag, despite a disappointing league campaign last season, signaling their commitment to helping him restore United to its former glory.

United has already started their Premier League season with a win against Fulham and is set to face Brighton in today’s early kick-off. The addition of Ugarte could be the final piece Ten Hag needs to push the team to new heights.
