BID ACCEPTED: Man United accept Chelsea swap deal proposal involving FOUR Blues player for only Sancho

Manchester United have made a surprising attempt to acquire another player from Chelsea as they continue negotiations for Raheem Sterling. The Red Devils have shown an interest in securing Sterling’s services after the new Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, informed the winger that he was no longer needed at Stamford Bridge.

According to reports from Sky Sports, Manchester United is also considering a last-minute bid for Chelsea’s young midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka. This move could potentially happen before the transfer window closes at 11 pm. Chukwuemeka, who joined Chelsea from Aston Villa in the summer of 2022, made 14 appearances in the Premier League during his debut season at Stamford Bridge. However, his opportunities to play in the first team diminished last season, and he has yet to make it into any of Chelsea’s matchday squads under Maresca’s leadership.

While Chelsea has been negotiating Sterling’s transfer to Manchester United, it now seems more likely that the winger will end up at Arsenal. Despite this, United is still expected to finalize a deal with Chelsea, with Jadon Sancho reportedly close to making a surprising move to Stamford Bridge. Sancho’s potential transfer to Chelsea is said to be a separate deal, unrelated to any discussions involving Chukwuemeka.

Chukwuemeka is one of several players Chelsea is open to selling before the summer transfer window closes. The club appears to be in a state of transition under Maresca, leading to a reshuffling of the squad. Jamie Redknapp, a former professional footballer and pundit, has expressed sympathy for several players within the Chelsea team, suggesting that some of them may be struggling with the changes at the club.
