“They should be banned from Man United, if Erik ten Hag wants to succeed”: Man United legend blasts THREE Man United’s player who played for Liverpool instead of Man United

Roy Keane Slams Manchester United’s First-Half Performance Against Liverpool

Manchester United legend Roy Keane did not hold back in his scathing critique of the team’s disastrous first-half display against Liverpool at Old Trafford. The Red Devils were thoroughly dominated, with Casemiro’s two critical errors gift-wrapping a comfortable lead for the visitors courtesy of Luis Diaz’s brace.

Keane, speaking on Sky Sports at halftime, pulled no punches. “Same old problems, leopards and spots,” he said, emphasizing United’s persistent struggles. “They look very open, sometimes it’s just one or two passes. They got away with it initially, but mistakes caught up with them.”

The former United captain specifically targeted Casemiro’s performance, highlighting the Brazilian’s ill-advised passes. “For all his experience, that’s not a first-time pass. It’s not worth the risk.” Keane stressed that individual errors can happen, but United’s lack of recovery and organization was alarming.

“Casemiro’s mistake for the second goal was unacceptable. He should have taken a touch and been more aware of his surroundings,” Keane analyzed. “The world-class pass from Salah finished it off, but Casemiro’s error set it up.”

Keane’s frustration stemmed from United’s repeated mistakes, echoing concerns from recent games. “They’re all over the place, and it’s happened for the last couple of games. The defenders aren’t providing cover, and the players aren’t tracking back.”

Casemiro’s halftime substitution, replaced by 20-year-old Toby Collyer, underscored the gravity of his mistakes. Keane’s words served as a stark reminder of United’s need for improvement.
