BREAKING NEWS: Erik ten Hag has already got a new job to coach a big club after leaving Manchester United and he demands to sign back the players he bought for Manchester United with Immediate effect.-“I know that I will get a new club as soon as possible and I am very happy because it is a very big club. I want to sign my players back from Manchester United and Lisandro Martinez have agreed to come with me”
Following Erik ten Hag’s recent exit from Manchester United, insights have surfaced about his immediate plans.
On Monday, Manchester United issued an official statement confirming that Ten Hag had been dismissed from his position as head coach. The decision came after months of scrutiny and speculation, with United’s latest Premier League defeat to West Ham United marking the final turning point. Ten Hag’s departure follows a period of mixed results in his two-year tenure.
Reports from The Daily Mail reveal that Ten Hag plans to return to his home in Austria, where he intends to take some time to process his exit and reflect on his experience at the club. This retreat offers him an opportunity to evaluate both his achievements and the challenges he faced during his two and a half years in charge.
Throughout his 850 days with United, Ten Hag oversaw 128 games, securing 44 wins, 27 losses, and 14 draws. His time with United included some successes, such as winning the 2023 Carabao Cup and the FA Cup last season. However, sources suggest Ten Hag may have anticipated his departure; he had reportedly confided to friends that he expected to leave shortly after the FA Cup final, when United lost to Manchester City.
Over the summer, speculation about possible replacements grew. INEOS and key figures in United’s management had reportedly considered other managers, including England’s current coach and Thomas Tuchel. Ultimately, however, they decided to allow Ten Hag to begin the 2024/25 season. Yet with only three wins out of nine Premier League matches, patience among United’s board and Sir Jim Ratcliffe wore thin, prompting them to initiate a managerial change.
Though his departure was abrupt, Ten Hag is reportedly handling it well, especially considering that a contract signed over the summer included a severance package worth £17.5 million.
As United moves forward, Sporting CP’s Ruben Amorim is considered the leading candidate for the permanent manager position, while former United player Ruud van Nistelrooy is expected to take on the interim role until a final decision is made.
