Nkunku has struggled to secure consistent playing time in the Premier League this season, starting just two matches. However, since then, he has played only 21 minutes across two additional league matches, leaving him frustrated with his lack of opportunities.
Reports first emerged in November through TEAMtalk that Nkunku was unhappy with his situation at Chelsea and was considering his future with the club. At the time, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca denied these claims, stating that Nkunku had personally reassured him of his commitment and had been promised more chances to feature in Premier League matches.
Despite these assurances, a recent report by TBRFootball indicates that Nkunku has now changed his position. He is said to be actively preparing for a move away from Chelsea, as he has not been able to secure a regular spot in the first-team lineup.
