“Instead of managing that flop center forward Jackson or buying a new striker, you can just easily call this forgotten striker from his loan spell. He is ten times better than Jackson” – This is according to John Mikel Obi as he urges Chelsa to bring back an overlooked striker from loan spell amid search for new centre-forward

Chelsea have reportedly brought one of their strikers back from a season-long loan as they continue searching for a new center-forward before the transfer window closes on Monday.
The club has been linked with several potential attacking signings, including Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap and Bayern Munich’s Mathys Tel. Despite these connections, no agreement has been finalized yet, leading Chelsea to explore internal options to strengthen their attack.
One possible solution may involve David Datro Fofana, an Ivorian striker who has officially returned to the club earlier than planned. His loan deal, which was supposed to last until the end of the season, has now been terminated.
Fofana’s loan experience was a mixed one. He initially had a promising spell at Burnley but later made an unexpected move to Turkish side Göztepe. Unfortunately, his time there was cut short by an injury that required surgery, prompting Chelsea to recall him.
According to Simon Johnson of The Athletic, Chelsea is now evaluating the severity of Fofana’s injury and considering the best way forward. His return also frees up an international loan spot, potentially giving the club room to sign another player before the transfer window officially closes.
