I have been trying my possible best in training to convince him to join Liverpool but He wants only Man United”, Netherland captain Van vigil Dijk CONFIRMED His £55m Country has pledged to join Man United coming week after snubbing Liverpool move

Manchester United is under pressure to bolster their wide attacking options this summer, and one name that has caught their attention is Xavi Simons.

Reports from Spain last month suggested that the Red Devils have a strong interest in acquiring the Dutch international from Paris Saint-Germain. More recently, sources in France have indicated that Manchester United is actively engaging in negotiations to secure Simons’ signature in the upcoming transfer window.

At 21, the talented playmaker has spent the last two seasons on loan, showcasing his skills in both the Dutch and German leagues. According to L’Equipe, Simons is not yet ready to return to PSG, leading the French champions to consider another loan rather than a permanent move. The respected media outlet also noted that Manchester United has initiated contact regarding a potential deal for Simons.

RB Leipzig, where Simons has thrived, would like to retain him for another season, while Arsenal has also expressed interest in the young star. Last season, Simons, who has 15 international caps, impressed with 10 goals and 15 assists across all competitions for the Bundesliga club. His stellar performances earned him a spot in the European Championships, and he recently played 62 minutes in the Netherlands’ 2-1 victory over Poland.

Valued at £59 million, Simons is predominantly right-footed and has demonstrated his versatility by excelling on both wings. He can also play as a central attacking midfielder if needed.

With the futures of Antony, Greenwood, and Sancho uncertain at Old Trafford, manager Erik ten Hag must prioritize the acquisition of a high-caliber winger. Given Simons’ potential and recent form, should Manchester United make a move for him?
