Personal terms agreed: Manchester United have agreed terms to sign £40m star, player Expected to be in London Carrington tomorrow to seal deal imminently

Manchester United, struggling with their attacking prowess in the top half of the Premier League, are eager to bolster their forward line by signing Joshua Zirkzee. Despite finishing in the upper echelon of the league, United recorded the second worst attacking stats among their peers, prompting them to seek reinforcements.

Reports suggest that the Red Devils have pinpointed Zirkzee as a prime target and are prepared to meet his transfer fee. According to The Mirror, Manchester United are willing to trigger the €40 million release clause to acquire the Dutch striker from Bologna.

The British media outlet adds that Manchester United are now working on agreeing to personal terms with Zirkzee to finalize the deal. To that end, the club is actively engaging in negotiations with the player’s representatives.

United view Zirkzee, 23, as a promising talent with the potential to develop into a world-class player. Standing at 6 feet 4 inches, Zirkzee combines his height with impressive speed, enabling him to outpace defenders. Additionally, his ability to drop deep and link up with midfielders and wide players adds a layer of versatility to his game, making him an attractive prospect for Manchester United.

Currently, Zirkzee is in Germany for the Euros, although he has yet to make an appearance for the Netherlands in the tournament. Despite a recent loss to Austria, the Dutch national team has secured their place in the knockout stages of the competition.

As Manchester United move forward with their pursuit of Zirkzee, the question remains: Is Joshua Zirkzee the right player to enhance United’s offensive capabilities?
