In a conversation with GMS, Romano stated, “I would keep his name in the list for Manchester United, waiting to see what they decide – because the player is keen on the move to Manchester United. Personal terms are not an issue at all.”
Romano continued, “Manchester United know the player is open to joining them, even without Champions League football, but it depends on the clubs.”
While personal terms between Branthwaite and Manchester United are not a barrier, agreeing on a transfer fee with Everton remains a challenge for the club, which is reluctant to overpay. Reports suggest that Everton are demanding a hefty fee of around £90 million for the defender.
