DEAL COMPLETED: Manchester United set to announce double summer signing tomorrow morning after £45m – £56m Fee was agreed today, Medical soon as unveiling will be done tomorrow

Manchester United is on the brink of announcing a significant double signing in their summer transfer campaign, with the official announcement expected tomorrow morning. Following a series of negotiations, a fee ranging from £45 million to £56 million has been agreed upon, and the players are set to undergo medical examinations before their unveiling.

One of the key players in this transfer saga is Paris Saint-Germain’s (PSG) defensive midfielder Manuel Ugarte. Reports from Traspasos indicate that Ugarte is eager to join Manchester United this summer. Despite his relatively recent move to PSG from Sporting CP, where he made a strong impression, Ugarte’s future at the French club appears uncertain.

During his debut season at PSG, Ugarte participated in 37 matches and contributed to three goals. However, his involvement in crucial fixtures was limited, casting doubts over his long-term role in the team. Although his contract with PSG extends until 2028, the 23-year-old midfielder is not prominently featured in new manager Luis Enrique’s plans, prompting the club to consider offers for him.

Manchester United has been actively seeking to bolster their midfield, particularly after an inconsistent season from their star midfielder, Casemiro. The Brazilian struggled to maintain form, and with age becoming a factor, United is looking for a reliable player who can both cover and compete with Casemiro.
