Andreas Christensen returns to Barcelona training ahead of Las Palmas clash and with future uncertain

Andreas Christensen was able to fully participate in Barcelona’s training session on Thursday, as the team gets ready for their La Liga match against Las Palmas on Saturday.

The Danish defender has had a tough time this season in Catalunya, and in January, he suffered another setback when a leg injury kept him out once again.

Christensen had already missed the first four months of the season due to an Achilles injury but is now back in action, training alongside his teammates.

At 28 years old, Christensen will likely be determined to maintain his fitness and contribute in any way he can for the rest of the season.

His recurring injuries have placed him lower in the team’s pecking order, leading to increased speculation that he might leave the club in the summer.

Reports suggest that Barcelona plans to sign Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen on a free transfer, meaning that some players will need to leave to make room in the squad.

Both Christensen and Eric Garcia are considered likely to depart, although Garcia’s role has grown in importance under coach Flick as the season has unfolded.
